High Carbon Steel Sheet
High-carbon steel plate is commonly known as carbon tool steel. Its carbon content is often 0.6-2.11%, and its manganese content is 0.3-0.9%. It can be quenched and tempered. In contrast, high carbon steel offers the greatest strength and hardness but the least ductility. This means that high-carbon steel plates are difficult to weld, cut, bend, etc. Therefore, it is mainly used in the manufacture of smaller parts, iron wire, hoops, cutting tools, high-strength wire and springs, etc.
Low Mild Carbon Steel Plate
Gengfei Steel has a complete carbon steel supply chain and a professional carbon steel delivery team. All our carbon steel series are processed according to ASTM and AISI standard specifications, and you can purchase carbon steel plates in different specifications. Gengfei steel can be custom-produced according to customers’ specific application needs and manufacturing processes, including galvanizing and coating to improve its corrosion resistance.
Q235 Carbon Steel
Q235 Carbon Steel is a Chinese standard carbon structural steel. Known for its excellent balance of strength and flexibility, it is widely used in construction and manufacturing. Q235 steel is easy to weld, cut, and machine, making it ideal for various applications. Its name is derived from its yield strength of 235 MPa, indicating its mechanical performance.
Weather Resistant Steel Plate
Weather Resistant Steel Plate, also known as CorTen Steel, has properties inhibiting atmospheric corrosion. When placed in suitable environments, surface treatment of steel is not needed as the “rust” extends the life cycle of the structure and creates a protective layer against the elements. The use of weather-resistant steels has predominantly been seen in the structural engineering sector, with the steel being popular in bridge work applications. More recently, we have seen this material used in Intermodal Containers, Sheet Piling and Rail Wagons, to name a few.
