347 Stainless Steel Coil
347 stainless steel coil is a stainless steel material characterized by excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature performance.
Stainless steel 347, also known as 0Cr18Ni11Nb, is an austenitic chromium steel. Its main components include chromium (18 percent), nickel (11 percent), and niobium (also known as columbium, which makes up more than 5 percent). It also contains small amounts of other elements such as carbon, manganese, phosphorus, silicon and sulphur. The addition of niobium imparts superior properties to this stainless steel, surpassing those of the more common 304 and 316 stainless steels. In addition, it has a yield strength of ≥205/MPa, tensile strength of ≥520/ MPa, elongation of ≥35%, and hardness tests: HBS ≤187, HRB ≤90, HV ≤200. This alloy is stabilised by the addition of chromium and tantalum, and offers higher creep and stress fracture properties than alloys 304 and 304L. In practice, Stainless Steel 347 is widely used for welded parts at high temperatures and is often used as a structural strength component due to its increased strength without loss of plasticity. In addition, it can also be used in the manufacture of chemical equipment, marine equipment, automotive parts, food processing equipment and other fields.

Among the chemical elements it contains, niobium can eliminate carbide precipitation, thereby eliminating intergranular corrosion and improving the corrosion resistance and formability of the material. In addition, 347 stainless steel is stabilized by the addition of chromium and tantalum and provides higher creep and stress rupture properties.
In 347 stainless steel pipes, the heat treatment process is generally solution treatment, with the temperature controlled at 980-1150°C, and then rapidly cooled. The austenitic steel treated in this way has high strength, yield strength ≥205/MPa, tensile strength ≥520/MPa, elongation ≥35%, hardness test: HBS≤187, HRB ≤90, HV≤200 .
Therefore, due to its excellent strength and corrosion resistance, 347 stainless steel coils are widely used in various fields that require high strength, corrosion resistance and good formability, such as chemical industry, shipbuilding, automobile, food processing and other industries.
