DX51D galvanized steel sheet is a bending and forming grade galvanized sheet, using low-carbon steel as the base material, and the steel grade serial number is 51. It is a European standard galvanized sheet, which is different from the common Japanese standard SGCC. Its main function is to coat a layer of metallic zinc on the surface of the steel plate to prevent corrosion on the surface of the steel plate and extend its service life. According to the production and processing method, DX51D galvanized sheets can be divided into hot-dip galvanized steel sheets, alloy galvanized steel sheets, electro-galvanized steel sheets, single-sided electroplated, and double-sided galvanized steel sheets. DX53D galvanized steel sheet is a steel plate with a layer of zinc on the surface, which is designed to prevent corrosion on the surface of the steel plate and extend its service life. This kind of galvanized sheet has a good appearance and must not have defects that are harmful to the use of the product, such as no plating, holes, cracks and scum, excessive plating thickness, scratches, chromic acid dirt, white rust, etc.
The chemical properties of DX51D galvanized steel sheet are mainly reflected in its corrosion resistance, which is attributed to the metallic zinc layer on its surface. In terms of physical properties, this steel plate has good coating density and weldability. Additionally, when the steel plate thickness is less than or equal to 0.35 mm, its minimum elongation is reduced by 7% from the value in the table.
