AISI 1050 1060 4140 Aluminum Round Bar
Aluminum round bar has good corrosion resistance and is ideal for most machining processes. It is a lightweight material with a smooth surface, sharp edges and a high strength-to-weight ratio. It is commonly used in aircraft manufacturing, marine and electronic applications. It is also commonly used for brackets, supports, keyways and decorative purposes.
1000 series aluminum round rod represents 1050, 1060 and 1100 series. Among all the series, series 1000 has the most aluminum content. Purity can reach more than 99.00%. Because it does not contain other technical elements, the production process is relatively simple and the price is relatively cheap. It is the most commonly used series in conventional industry at present.
5000 series aluminum round rod represents 5052, 5005, 5083, 5A05 series. 5000 series aluminum rod belongs to the more commonly used alloy aluminum rod series, the main element is magnesium, the magnesium content is between 3-5%. Also known as aluminum magnesium alloy. The main characteristics are low density, high tensile strength and high elongation. Under the same area, the weight of Al-Mg alloy is lower than other series, and it is widely used in conventional industry.
