1. Industry Overview

  • Offshore Platforms: Structural members, handrails, and deck fittings use superduplex for durability in salt spray.
  • Process Vessels & Tanks: 304L and 316L ensure purity and longevity in the storage of hydrocarbons and chemicals.

  • Sour Service (H₂S): Use NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 compliant duplex alloys.
  • High Temperatures: Select low-carbon grades (L variants) to prevent sensitization and intergranular corrosion.
